Warming Shelters Available
As this is being written, it's about 12 degrees in Providence. And it looks like the cold will continue for a few more days.
Warming shelters are being made available across Rhode Island, and the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency has published a list on their website.
Stay warm!

7:00 a.m. on Hot 106

Teddy Bears Everywhere!
Thank you Fidelity Investments for donating 100 teddy bears to help us help children!
The bears will soothe boys and girls traumatized by crime and violence and other crises.
Family Service of RI partners with the Providence Police to respond, on-scene 24/7, to children and families facing critical situations in their lives.
In the photo, Family Service of RI's Carla Cuellar, who rides on patrol with police officers, and Patrolman Virak In check out the teddy bears.
The bears will also be used for young families served by Family Service of RI's First Connections home visiting program.
Thank you Fidelity!
