Eat, Drink and...Help Needy Children & Families April 3


Eat, drink and help needy children and families by printing out the above coupon and visiting Uno in the Providence Place Mall on Thursday, April 3, for lunch or dinner.

Up to 20% of your bill will be donated to Family Service of Rhode Island and its work helping needy children, adults and families across the state.

The weather looks beautiful for this Thursday.  Get out and enjoy the spring weather and help a great cause!

Family Service of Rhode Island has a waiting list of children from across the state needing loving homes.

Have you thought about becoming a foster parent?  These boys and girls need you!

Learn more about the joys of foster parenting on Wednesday, March 26, in our offices at 134 Thurbers Avenue, just moments off the highway in Providence.  We're holding an open house from 5 until 7 p.m.  Learn more about the event, and get directions, here.

Drop Off Items for Veterans in Need through Friday March 28.

Drop off personal care items and help veterans in need!

Through Friday, March 28, Family Service of Rhode Island will be collecting a range of personal care items to support needy veterans.

Items such as socks, toothbrushes, dental floss, shaving cream, deodorant, body wash, hand sanitizer and more.

Helping Military Families with Past, Current and Future Deployments

Family Service of RI senior vice president Susan Erstling, LICSW, Ph.D., and Army veteran Jeanne Sherman, LMHC, will be speaking on addressing trauma for military families with past, current or future deployments on Thursday, March 13.

Dr. Erstling heads an evidence-based Family Service of RI trauma program caring for Rhode Island military families.
